ICAA Southern California Neo Classicists Event

Wednesday evening, June 26th 2019, the Southern California chapter of the ICAA Neo Classicists met up for lively conversation and elevated pub grub at 6th & La Brea Brewery & Restaurant.

At 7PM the grouped walked over to Liz’s Antique Hardware at 453 South La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles to listen to a multi-media presentation by Liz Gordon herself on preservation, restoration, object re-use, repurposing, salvaging as an alternative to demolition, and environmental impact. Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres and an extraordinarily impactful modern art installation entitled Diverted Destruction: The Human Condition.

Some notable attendees were Dana Triano (Nationally Certified Interior Designer & ICAA SoCal Board Member), Deric Schmidt (ASID’s Edna O’Brien Award Winner), Gillian C. Rose (Color Scientist & Bestselling Author of Visual Methodologies), Athena MacFarland (Luxe. Interiors + Design Magazine Sales Director), Roxie Sarhangi (PR Guru & Principal of ROXIE/PR), Hania Rouhani (World-Class Social & Direct Media Content Manager), and Kyle Witt (Master of Human-Centered Design and Technical Advisor for Haas Entertainment).
